Erma Lenora Hash, age 93, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2007 at the
Heritage Living Center in Conway, Arkansas, where she resided. She was born
February 22, 1914 in Wolbach, Nebraska to Albert and Nora Jones.
Mrs. Hash was retired from Photo Art Commercial Studio in Portland,
Oregon where she was the Lead Photo Retoucher for many years. Her talents in
that regard lead to her success as an artist working with oil paint,
Ceramic, porcelain and woodcarving. Her favorite subjects included birds and
other wildlife, along with family portraiture. Erma also worked along side
her father as a welder at the Oregon Ship Building Yard during World War II
building ships for the military.
Mrs. Hash was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Vernon
One son, Edward Hash of Maumelle, Arkansas, 3 grandchildren, Alan Hash
of Benton, Arkansas, Laura Deveny of Gresham, Oregon, David Hash of Gresham,
Oregon, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, survive her.
A memorial funeral service with Rev. Terry Kimbrow officiating, will be
held on Wednesday, 3:00 p.m., April 25th at Roller-Nutt Funeral Home in
