Linda Sue Ivy, 63, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2006, at Conway
Regional Medical Center. Born April 13, 1942 in Little Rock to the late James A. and Dorothy
(Davis) Ferguson, she was a homemaker and attended Naylor United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Melvin H. Ivy, Jr. and wife Beula of Enola and Raymond M. Ivy
and wife Kim of Mt. Vernon; nine grandchildren: Amanda, Stephanie, Dwayne, Rusty, Jennifer,
Megan, Aaron, Logan, and Brooklyn; one great-grandchild: Audrie; one brother, Jimmy Ferguson
of Amity, AR; two sisters, Nancy Legg of Traskwood, AR, and Wanda Fowlkes of Little Rock;
several nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Melvin H. Ivy, Sr.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Bro. Harold
Claassen and Bro. Paul Reams officiating. Interment will follow at Naylor Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
